Originally created to make utilities run on the UNIX operating system, C is now found in many other operating systems and hardware platforms. Because it’s considered a basic language, many aspiring programmers choose to study C as the foundation for learning other high-level languages, like Java, PHP and Python.
C is simple to learn and-as one of the earliest developed languages-is the foundation for many other languages.
